National workshop on Cryptology is an annual event being conducted by the Cryptology Society of India (CRSI). NITT is proud to host National workshop on Cryptology 2017 during 28-30th August 2017. The aim of the workshop is to bring all researchers in this field and learners under one premise to build a community. The workshop includes tutorial sessions to cover broad spectrum of Cryptology and related areas. Workshop also invites original research contributions in all aspects of cryptography and related areas.


       National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli (NITT) , is one among the premier Institutions of India and is well known for its high standards in teaching and research. It offers 10 undergraduate and 23 postgraduate programs in disciplines spanning engineering, science, architecture and management. It has been declared as an Institute of National Importance by the Government of India under NIT Act. According to the Ministry of Human Resources Development, NIRF 2017, NIT Trichy has been ranked as the 1st NIT among all the NITs and 11th among all the technical institutes in India. The Institute has signed MoUs with various Industries and Institutions both in India as well as in abroad to promote collaborative research and consultancy. It has been awarded the “Best Industry linked National Institute of Technology in India” by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in the year 2015.


     Cryptology Research Society of India (CRSI) established in 2001, the Cryptology Research Society of India is a scientific assembly with academicians, researchers, specialists, students and institutions interested in promoting the science and technology of Cryptology and Data Security and  other related theory and Applications in India. A National Workshop on Cryptology and an International Conference on Cryptology (INDOCRYPT) are the annual events being organised by the CRSI. For more details, log on to
